Brain Re-training Shown to Reverse ADHD in 12 Weeks - NaturalNews.tv

Brain Re-training Shown to Reverse ADHD in 12 Weeks - NaturalNews.tv: "- Sent using Google Toolbar"

For people with ADHD, Autism, Asperger's, Dyslexia the Brain Balance program is the best option available today. Dr. Robert Mellilo's hemisphere based therapy demonstrates that there is not a problem of damage, but rather a functional disconnection. This means that some parts of the brain have lagged behind others in development.

These are not purely genetic disorders or damage. Brains of ADHD or Autistic children's brains do not demonstrate any clear cut pathology.

This information alone gives people hope and hope itself is a great tool towards healing.

That being the case a 12 week course of therapy can be instituted with the goal to develop the weak areas of the brain. In just 12 weeks, without drugs, over 80% of patients are able to drop their medications with their doctor's help.

82% of 60 children lost the ADHD diagnosis within 12 weeks. 60% of them had a 2 grade level jump and 35% f them jumped 4 grades. These were very compliant cases with parents and children doing a lot of the recommended therapies between center visits.

This is certainly very exciting news for a very difficult health topic, which until recently, seemed to have no answer and no end in sight. It proves the chiropractic vision that the body has the ability to heal itself and the brain and nervous system are the master controller of the entire body. By providing the brain with the boost it needs in some cases great results can be achieved. Normalization of function is always the goal with drugs or surgery.

Pesticides tied to ADHD in children in U.S. study | General Headlines | Comcast.net

Pesticides tied to ADHD in children in U.S. study | General Headlines | Comcast.net: "- Sent using Google Toolbar"

Why are your kids acting up? Why can't they sit still and focus? Why can't they learn? It may not be their fault.

Their sensitive and rapidly developing nervous systems are under assault from environmental toxins such as pesticides. These organophosphates are designed to kill bugs by disrupting their nervous systems. When they're sprayed they reach the food, the soil and even the water. Eventually the animals we eat are also loaded with these poisons. So they're involved at every level of the food chain.

Everyone must adapt measures to detoxify on a regular basis. The body has several ways in which it naturally detoxes. First is the liver with two phases. It's kind of like moving day. Phase One boxes up the garbage and in Phase Two the moving men come and load the boxes on the truck to be transported away. If either or both of these phases is not working the liver and the body will be overburdened. It's easy to assess this problem with the right lab test. From there diet and nutrients can be prescribed to facilitate detox "moving day".

Next is the digestive system. Is overeating a problem? Is overload of junk food including natural and artificial sweeteners a problem? Is there gas, constipation, loose bowels, or incomplete evacuation? Is urine dark and does it smell bad? These are major problems! But they can be fixed with some changes to diet and lifestyle. Keep in mind that the GI tract is home to 80% of the immune system! Toxins will break down the ability of the GI tract to function properly.

Emotional stress can impact the GI system very quickly. In this scenario there are connections from stress and emotions to the GI tract to the immune system to the nervous system and soon to the whole body.

There's much more to discuss. The bottom line is that everyone of us is in the line of fire from environmental toxins to the degree that they can affect our physiology and behavior. The good new is there are defensive and corrective measure which can be taken. The trick is finding a well trained doctor/coach to guide you through the process to better health.

9 Drug-Free Approaches to Managing ADHD

Drugs for ADD and ADHD fill receptor sites in the brain to produce temporary effects. When the drug wears off the problem is still there and a new dose is needed. Over time the brain's receptor sites can become sensitized to the drug and the dose. Either more drug is needed or a different drug is needed. Now the studies are saying that "....more than 60 percent of the children on stimulants stopped taking the medication within eight years. What's more, the medications used in the study might have stunted participants' growth, researchers concluded."

No parent wants to stunt their kids growth just to get them to concentrate and behave normally. There are better ways to deal with ADD/ADHD. The best way is to build new neural pathways and receptor sites with various brain excercises and to fill those sites with nutrients which will make a permanent change for the better without side effects. The practitioner is seek out is an expert in functional neurology and a clinical nutritionist. My office provides both services.

ADHD Drug Warning

A small study shows an association between ADHD medication and sudden cardiac arrest in children. According to Dr. Ashton, a medical doctor, chiropractic can help with ADHD.

Certain neurotransmitters in the brain are deficient in ADHD kids and adults. The drugs that are given will temporarily fill the brain receptor sites that help calm the person. When the drug wears off so does the effect and a new dose must be given. As we see from this study these drugs can also have a range of side effects, even sudden death in children.

There are much better ways to help ADHD children. One way is with specific excercises that create brand new neural pathways. Another great treatment is with functional lab testing

This is followed by a prescribed nutritional program to help rebuild the depleted nutrients the brain needs to replenish those critical neurotransmitters.

My office provides these services both locally in Israel and in the U.S.

Study: Chiropractic Care Helps Concentration

A small but growing group of very progressive chiropractors is showing the world that chiropractic is neurology. Structure and function are interdependent upon one another. Watch the video to see a bit of how this works. The goal is to build new neural pathways and enhance the existing ones through specific brain exercises. While brain exercises seem to be the buzz today, remember that chiropractors have been addressing the nervous system since 1895, and today are very well equipped to do so, especially with intensive post graduate programs in different areas of specialty such as neurology.
